Leveraging sport research to live not just longer, but better
The Objectives
- Inform and improve overall wellness, performance, injury prevention, physical health and mental well-being in those that participate in sport and undertake physical activity
- Embrace and promote inclusivity for all, at all levels, including gender, race, disability, and sexuality
- Promote sport as a driver for political and societal change around the globe
- Promote changes which seek to minimize environmental impact and enhance sustainability

We foster a culture of collaborative education and research across academic disciplines, athletics, and industry partners to create new opportunities for students and faculty and to accelerate sport and wellness innovation.

We advance research that breaks traditional boundaries and brings together faculty and students from across the university as well as external partners to achieve innovation, apply results to improve health and performance, and set the global research agenda in sport and wellness.

We restructured our academic curriculum through interdepartmental collaboration to create more nuanced, multifaceted, and experiential learning opportunities for students to enable them to differentiate and stand out in their future careers.
